Soybean update～大豆の生育状況報告。

The soybeans have started to flower! This is earlier than normal, but due to the early planting this past spring, the soybean crop is ahead of schedule. The crop had　herbicide applied to control weeds prior to flowering and weed control is now complete.

大豆の花が咲き始めました！いつもより少し早い開花ですが、今年は植え付けが早かったので大豆の生育は予定より早くなっています。開花前に行わなければならない除草剤の散布も終わって、雑草管理は万全です。

The yellowing in field is due to Iron Deficiency Chlorosis (IDC). The is a common sight in North Dakota in the early stages of soybean growth. It is due to the fact that we have high ph soils but the soybeans will grow through it without any issue.
畑の中に黄色く見える部分がありますが、これは鉄分の欠乏から起こる現象です。これはノースダコタあたりではよく見かけるもので大豆の生育の早い段階で起こります。この現象は土壌の ph 値が高いために起こるのですが、大豆はこの事とは関係なく成長しますので問題はありません。

As the crops are growing nicely, our office staff took Independence Day of the United States on July Fourth off from work to celebrate with our family and friends.

穀物が良く育ってくれているので、 SB&B の事務所は 7 月 4 日の独立記念日を家族や友達と祝う為にお休みを取りました。

There were a lot of the festive red, white and blue colors and beautiful fireworks traditionally displayed in celebrations across the country. Many attended outdoor barbecue meals, community parades and firework shows.

この日はアメリカの国旗の色である赤、白、青が溢れ出し、恒例になっているお祝いの花火が全米中で打ち上げられます。沢山の人が屋外でバーベキューを楽しんだり、地元で催されるパレードや花火を楽しみました。
